Laura and Philip have been coaching since 1994. They were the first two coaches in Nevada and then the first two Master Certified Coaches in the state.
As a married couple, they are know as the First Couple of Coaching, having been the first married couple to form a coaching company together.
They have been married since 1994 and chose their wedding date because of coaching: In the early days of our profession, there were few models for how to structure a coaching business. Most coaches worked with clients 4 weeks each month. That meant that a couple of times a year, during the 5 week months, there was a week with no coaching. Once Laura and Philip had decided to get married, it was logical to choose a 5-week month for wedding and honeymoon. August it was!
